KING of SUBSYLVANIA!
So, our grand experiment has concluded and I hope you guys had as much fun with it as we did. And by fun I mean, untold hours sitting in front of a keyboard, and gnashing of the teeth over contentious edits! TMI?
Anyway, who were those MASKED MEN?! And by that I mean, who in the blue hell are Dracula’s mysterious benefactors who arrived at the bottom of the ocean in a pretty badass sounding submarine? Well, yes, that certainly is a question isn’t it…
While you ponder that, I’ll go ahead and tell you what comes NEXT!
Next week is a break, but trust me, you will kick yourself if you miss out on the pin-up coming courtesy of a MYSTERIOUS GUEST ARTIST, featuring a CROSSOVER between the Daredevils and ??? Look no further than the comments for clues to this sensational artist’s identity…
Then high tail it back here on July 30th for the kick-off of Pitch Black Day Chapter Two! That’s right, prepare yourself for a return to the regularly scheduled programming, and as usual, Danilo is bringing the awesome! Make sure to RSS, Like, or Follow because you’ve got to see what comes NEXT!
ATTN: Daredevilers! Yet again, Danilo’s full-size, unaltered pencil illustration is available to view with your eyeballs NOW if you have the gumption to crack this code…

Not yet a Daredeviler? It’s FREE. Rectify the situation here.
Well, here at ThreeOneFive Ranch we’re swinging from the rafters making last minutes preparations for our road trip to the San Diego Comicon. Think, “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”, except way more boring and less mescaline. Remember, if you want to waste your time at the Con talking to three pretty cool dudes who make adventure comics just get in touch through some form of Internet communication. Oh, and read the Sunday Bonus Lunch because REUBEN SANDWICH SPIDER-MAN.
Anyways, till next week!

Great Scott! Utterly unnerving this is however, one has to ask, if Dracula were so great why would he be so fixated on a mere city? It seems a bit nearsighted to me. Also it dawns on me Doc Carver lost is glasses when he was snatched…yet could seemingly see just fine when in Dracula’s lair. Are they decoration, an apparatus to aid with his job or are the needed and he was perhaps bitten?
The quick answer is, hang in there for Chapter 2 coming in two weeks, which answers all these questions and more.
On the the scope of Dracula’s plans: London and it’s residents pissed him off royally, but what fun would it be if we’d revealed all of Dracula’s dastardly plans already? No fun, I say.
On Doc’s glasses: Well, he does need Dracula to introduce himself, and he is rubbing his eyes on Page 11 of Chapter 1, so I don’t think he was seeing just fine, at all.
As always, thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts, TKG!
My Theories on who the masked men in the submarine might be:
1- Captain Nemo, which is doubtful because he deserves his own arch villain spot and not second fiddle.
2- Sea Nazis, with a U boat, bent on revenge (or prevenge if this is before the war).
3- WWI German Navy, similar to #2, but back to the RE-venge.
4- The Lone Ranger, and several of his clones, the Masked Man part gave it away, and he finally gave up the hero gig.
5- Cobra Commander, once again Prevenge, but not sure why he would care about London so much.
6- Dracula made the whole thing up, because he was jealous that he did not have his own submarine.
7- Wal-Mart makes a time travel play for world domination, after the 2032 stock market collapse makes a retail global Corporatocracy increasingly unlikely.
I’m leaning towards #2 It’s almost like they were looking for Dracula, and perhaps time traveled to find him, but #3 also works.
We are re-writing the identity of Dracula’s mysterious benefactors after your comment, T. Gatto…
Your Wal-Mart idea is just too good to pass up!
