Well, we made it and I really don’t even know what to say. I think part of it is maybe…I’ve said so much over the years. Those of you who have been here from the beginning (and those maybe reading this in the future who perused not only the pages but the blogs) know that I’ve written a blog for almost every page we’ve published since way back in 2012…

When we started the blogs were substantial, but as time went on they simmered down to a pithy paragraph or two. Along the way, across the approximately 520 posts (there are so many, I only have back of the napkin math not hard numbers), I’ve hyped, contextualized, filibustered, flogged books and merch, and chronicled a lot of the life and (sadly) death that unfolded in my daily life. 

For more than a decade, my life has revolved around Monday night deadlines for Tuesday posts – a constant axis to orbit. Sometimes it was a pain in the ass sure, but who am I kidding, I loved it all. Even if everything else was falling apart, Tuesday was coming and Hell was coming with it. That page was getting posted on time if at all humanly possible – win, lose, or draw. One good reason (among many, thankfully) to keep on keepin’ on. 

And, you know what? DAMMIT, I’M NOT READY TO GIVE IT UP JUST YET! In fact, I’ve just sent a script for a short EPILOGUE (for the kids out there, an after credits scene) to Danilo!

Later this year or early next year, when the EPILOGUE is complete, we will resume regular transmissions and commence with the (for reals this time) FINAL POSTS, which will include personal farewells from each and every one of the CREATORS. 

In the meantime, we want to make sure that we stay in touch so that we can share updates with all you wonderful Daredevilers out there. There are THREE ways that you can stay in the know:

I Gotta Know…

WHAT HAPPENED?!

Three pages to go. It feels weird to think that, let alone type it, and despite knowing the end was nigh for some time, I don’t think it has really sunk in yet. Deep Dive Daredevils is “older” than my eldest child, who is a freshman in high school. It’s a lot to process. 

Speaking of processing, what the hell did happen to that crazy pink energy and the bad guys?

We’re Done For…

AND…another TWO bite the dust! What seems like a lifetime ago, we introduced twelve in that infamous double page splash. As of now, eleven have gotten what they so richly deserve. The one remaining, “Regular H” as we call him here at Daredevil HQ, will, unfortunately, have to remain, so that he can take the coward’s way out in a bunker at the end of WWII. 

We here at the ThreeOneFive ranch are big Tarantino fans, but we just don’t feel the same license to alter history.
