They come to snuff the Rooster…but, you know he ain’t gonna DIE!!

In case you’re unfamiliar with the reference, “Rooster” is a song by Alice in Chains and while I did indeed listen to A LOT of AIC while working on Dracula’s letter, I am mostly just referring to it here because I know it will drive Evin crazy! Ya see, he hates AIC whereas I love ‘em, and we’ve had an ongoing feud about the band since, oh, roughly…1995. And now, by including the above reference to AIC, I believe I have just definitively won the war. In your face, Evin!

Anyhow, I had a ball with this week’s portion of the letter. It’s Dracula’s very own “dark night of the soul.” Gone mad and trapped 4,000 fathoms below the waves, the once great lord of Transylvania hit rock bottom and wished for death…but, ultimately found a way to survive!

Well, I hope you guys and gals are digging it too. I’m sure, however, that you definitely got the willies from Danilo’s fantastic pencil illustration this week. That evil light radiating from Dracula’s eye sockets is fantastic. Don’t piss off Dracula, man!

ATTN: Daredevilers! Just like last week, use the Official Deep Dive Daredevils Decoder Ring and solve the following puzzle…

Well, I would advise keeping a close eye on the Sunday Bonus Lunch for the fall-out from my playful jabs at Evin. His ego is so very fragile. It should be fun for the whole family to read his inevitable meltdown.

Anyways, till next week!
