EPIC!
The word “epic” gets thrown around pretty liberally these days; things that should probably be described as “above average,” “great,” or even “extraordinary” are often labeled as EPIC. For reference, here’s the definition of epic:
Of, relating to, or having the characteristics of an epic poem. Or, extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope.
Now, I am generally as guilty of misusing the word as anybody, but I truly believe that this page is worthy of being called EPIC – especially in context with of all the Daredevils material that has come before. Danilo has delivered huge, sprawling visuals before, but there is just SO MUCH AWESOME on this page! Every panel has insane depth and multiple things happening at once, yet the storytelling is crystal clear. It really is amazing work. And, if I do say so myself, the story on this page delivers more heightened emotion and true danger than any that have come before!
I guess that was all just a really long way of saying, “I like this page a lot and I hope you guys do to.”

The Custer is Full of Surprises!
I hope you put out some deck plans someday.
I’m sure *someday* we’ll put out some sort of schematic or blueprints for The Custer.
However, it won’t be until after we’ve revealed The Custer’s biggest surprises in the story.
In the case of this page the word epic is not out of place. I mean it has everything, baseball bats being used to give fish-creatures concussions and fisticuffs! The only thing missing is someone grabbing a fish critter by the head lure! But why do I get the feeling our passenger is due to arrive any minute now.
Ouch! That sounds painful… I´ll have it in mind.

And, yes, definitely keep the “head lure” grabbing in mind, Danilo, as there is lot more Fish-man fighting to be done before Pitch Black Day is all said and done!
