Mein Leben!
Yes, we really have set up a scenario where a submarine is engaged in a life-or-death tug-of-war with a swarm of jet skis that can also somehow drive underwater. Why have we done this? Simply put…because we can, and because it is totally kick ass.
Be here NEXT WEEK for more underwater INSANITY! Who will win? Who will lose? Could this really be the end of the line for Captain Custer? Be here in 7 days for those answers and much, MUCH more.
Till next time!

Anybody got a really big shotgun shell to load into the Aft Torpedo Tube?
Is the woman one of the rescued females from Pitch Black?
She is indeed.
Set one torpedo to detonate at 200 yards- that will rock the sub, but CONCUSSION underwater from 500 pounds of TORPEX will kill/disable those bastards. Problem solved.
I agree with Sgt. Howard on this, it would be the most tactically feasible option.
Skeleton crew. No torpedo men.
That’s why they had to “ZARK” the first Nazi sub way back here: http://deepdivedaredevils.com/?p=976, http://deepdivedaredevils.com/?p=986.
Isn’t 200 yards a little too close to the sub? I know these aren’t exactly MK48 ADCAPS we’re talking about (for those, *1,000* yards is a good safety margin), but let’s be reasonable…
I forget the nomenclature, but given the late 1930′s torpedo they will shake the sub a mite, but not enough to do serious harm… but they have to be set BEFORE they go in the tube. Thus, without a torpedoman and crew, it’s a moot point.
and yet we do not know the ship does not have a torpedo man….
Actually, we do know that there is no torpedo man, TKG. Matt confirmed it above that none are aboard, only a skeleton crew. It’s a pity too, because I liked the proposed solution.
