It’s DRACULA!
We’ve been holding this moment in our back pocket for so long, waiting patiently for it to hit the blotter while doing our best to keep it secret, and now it’s here! I’ve personally been waiting for this moment since Evin came up with the idea of the Daredevils facing off with Dracula many, many moons ago. I immediately fell in love with the idea, as it reminded me of something akin to Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein (although the tone of this tale is certainly more dire). Which just seems like a perfect fit for the Daredevils, considering the 1930s setting and their Saturday Matinee influences.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re scratching your head, thinking something along the lines of, “If this is THE Dracula, how in the heck did he end up at the bottom of the ocean with a bunch of Fish-Vampire minions?” Well, I’m so glad you asked because the answer to that question is coming…
NEXT WEEK! In our most BRAZEN publishing endeavor yet, The ThreeOneFive and Danilo Guida proudly present THE LOST, FINAL CHAPTER of BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA! That’s right; over the next FOUR WEEKS we will take you on an EPIC JOURNEY, which bridges the gap between the ending of Bram Stoker’s legendary novel and this week’s jaw-dropping page! So, make sure to RSS, Like, or Follow unless you hate classic literature.
And, no worries, a standard pop-culture understanding of the Dracula myth will be more than adequate to enjoy Dracula: The Lost Chapter, but it might be fun to brush up on Bram Stoker’s novel here, if you are so inclined.
OK, so I haven’t asked you guys to do this in a while, but it would be super-duper awesome if you would VOTE for the Daredevils at [Top Web Comics]! Right now, we are ranked at about 250 (which is not too shabby), but if everyone who visits the comic every week were to VOTE just ONE TIME it would probably be enough to see us crack the Top 100 and reach the front page. So what do you say? It literally takes 30 seconds to VOTE and show just how much you love the Deep Dive Daredevils. Wouldn’t it be cool to see The Custer on the front page of Top Web Comics?!
Anyways, till next week!

Forget the Garlic Aftershave, what the good doctor really needed was a pair of brown pants!
Wonderful classic Dracula look, and nice pokey staff thingy. Any chance of a print?
I am now inclined to wonder if the DDD’s will ever meet Captain Nemo, or other pulp characters from the time period.
Captain Nemo, that would be cool!
I would love to see your take on The Nautilus submarine, and what upgrades would have been made.
The Custer vs. The Nautilus!
That would be a whopper of a tale, by golly!
And, as for a PRINT of this page…would any other Daredevilers be interested in a limited run?
Uh.. YEA!
ATTN: Daredevilers!
A print of this SENSATIONAL page is now available in a LIMITED run in the store. Pre-order now and the prints will ship in TWO WEEKS!
GREAT splash page! It’s awesome!!! Can’t wait to read the ‘lost’ chapter, I love the original novel! Kudos to the whole crew!
Thanks, Rich!
We’ve been working really hard to get the “lost chapter” just right…we must be crazy to take on a classic novel like Dracula, but the story we’ve cooked up was just too fun to pass up.
LOVE IT! Great reveal! This is gonna be good. -v
Thanks, Vince!
We’ve been champing at the bit to get this page out there. The real fun starts now!
Great reveal and an excellent page overall. I wonder if it’s a bad thing I breathed a sigh of relief it wasn’t ‘Alucard’ or something. This story is really getting good!
Oh btw I’d buy a print!
Thanks, TKG!
The next phase of the story should give you some content that you can really sink your teeth into (Vampire pun for the win!).
THAT’s what we’ve been EATING?!? … excuse me, I’m going to purge my body with wescodyne, followed by a Holy Water gargle and high colonic… then I will live on communion wafers for three years while chanting the rosary… and I am not Catholic…
Sorry, Ol’ Sarge, I would have said something, but you seemed so excited about your fish fry.
That’s one freaky looking vampire behind Dracula with the thing coming out of his head. Looks like one of those deep-water fish that use the light as bait.
Welcome aboard, Lee!
Yeah, the fish-vamps do look a heck of a lot like deep water Anglerfish. In the next couple of weeks you’ll learn all about where they come from, and how they came to be!
