Blorbl Morble…
You’d think that the World’s Greatest Man of Science would know better than to try to talk underwater…Oh well, now’s he more like World’s Greatest Live Bait, being reeled in on a giant fishing line.
But, then again, it’s Custer who is spreading copious amounts of his own particular brand of CHUM all over the place.
However you slice it, NEXT WEEK spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E!
Till next time!
-Matt-
Technically wouldn’t doc be getting a lovely case of the bends at this depth?
Technically, “the bends” is when you go too quickly from a high -pressure environment to a low-pressure one. Custer and the Doc were at almost the same depth, so Doc should be alright. At least, until he sees what’s waiting for him in the other airlock…
That is the way I understand it, as well.
I am still guessing that Doc already had his escape underway (perhaps he was in the process of teleporting elsewhere) and Custer threw a wrench in the works.
I would not be completely surprised if the Admiral, or someone in command, was not just elaborately faking Doc’s death to make it look like the trains cargo and Doc were blown up, instead of stolen.
Maybe you are going in another direction, anything is possible…
While you are usually right on the mark and I am usually coy with information, it does no harm to let you know that the Admiral was indeed trying to blow Doc up along with the Gigs.
Sayonara, Doc!
