Custer’s happy ending?!
He’s gonna ride off into the sunrise and FINALLY be reunited with his main squeeze, Mona, settle down, and raise a family. After all he’s been through, I’d say Custer has more than earned his fair share of happiness and peace.
But (I can hear you asking), how is that possible? We all know what becomes of the good Captain, and there was a whole story (The Cajun Caper) dedicated to the fact the he, in fact, NEVER saw Mona again after he left her to fight in the Civil War. Well, all I’ll say is that since their are multiple Hitlers couldn’t there also be multiple Custers? I’m not saying there are, but then again you never know…
Be here NEXT WEEK as we switch gears and look at the world through Doc’s eyes!
Anyways, till next time!

Sorry Captain,
I think you are going to have to get used to romance being a disappointment (along with having your upper torso welded to the innards of a submarine).
At least we can take comfort, of a sort, in knowing that your beloved will have a prosperous future running a cat house, as you are mercilessly hounded by a plethora of Techno Nazis with no safe harbor.
Geez, you are AWESOME and all, but I’m suddenly very glad to be me!
Eh…generally without a lower half romance tends to be rather one-sided.
I imagine that using the lavatory could also be quite problematic, but he seems to have that taken care of as well. I guess some things are better left off the page.
Re:Cyborg Custer’s bodily functions: rest assured, we’ve thought about it. And yeah, it probably won’t be something we deal with on page…
But you never know!
Custer’s worst nightmare.
Not sure if this is a true story, as I have seen the facts disputed.

This page creates more questions then it answers, for example: Is that an alternate reality Custer who gets a good end or is this the Custer we know who’s fallen into an alternate reality which sets off the chain of events we know? The presence of Doc who is differentiated only by a different hair style and uniform seems influenced by the Trek episode ‘Mirror, Mirror’.
I think TKG already asked the most pressing question on my mind, so I’ll just have to say that being given a cliffhanger right now is completely in-character for this comic, but dagnabbit, it’s like someone waving a juicy steak in front of you long enough to get you salivating and then taking it away with a wicked grin and telling you to be patient.
This is what we do, fellas.
Thanks again for reading!
Custer is homeward bound…or is he? Seems like there might be trouble ahead! And NEXT WEEK: We see the world through Doc’s eyes…as black man in the 1860s??? This does not look good for our heroes.
