I yet LIVE!
Guys, it’s been seriously crazy day, and I just do not have the wherewithal to write up any detailed thoughts about this page. Sorry.
I will say, that (as per usual) I really love the way the art turned out. Special shout-out to Angela for her outstanding colors.
Also, those of you who have been following the Daredevils for a good long while will no doubt have a twinge of nostalgia this week for the second DDD tale, The Cajun Caper. Those of you who have no idea what I am talking about can check out that story HERE in the meantime…
But, make sure to Be here NEXT WEEK for some VERY interesting developments!
Anyways, till next week!
-Matt-
Great page.
It is fascinating to see that Custer somehow looks much younger on this page, especially in the third panel, than on the preceding pages. Prime example of what love can do for a man …
@Matt Don’t fret about the lack of words. Please do not take this the wrong way, but your write-up of detailed thoughts isn’t exactly the first reason we are coming back to DDD every Thuesday …
Oh, I have no illusions about why people come back every week. His name starts with a…DANILO.
But, during Volume 1 I committed to write 300 or so words with each page (and did most of the time). The blogs might be trending a mite shorter for Vol. 2 though it seems…
Good thing he didn’t end up at the bottom of the Sea.
Canned Custer does not sound good with Sea Food…
So this all goes back to the letter, well done!
It does indeed. The moment at the end of the Cajun Caper where we find out that the Captain’s history goes all the way back to the Civil War is where this story was born.
Ah I thought the style looked a bit familiar, after all that was the episode that answered one of the mysteries of Custer himself.
So many other mysteries are about to be revealed in mere weeks!
