The prologue is finished…
But, the ADVENTURE has just begun! Be here NEXT WEEK when BEYOND FAMILIAR SHORES Chapter One begins in earnest. We’re switching gears from historical drama to some seriously historical WEIRDNESS.
Buckle up, Daredevilers! The story of Captain Custer misbegotten youth continues, and it gets a mite bumpy from here on out…
Not too much else to say this week, I guess. Other than the fact that I think the shot of Custer in panel 3 this week might be just about the most BADASS thing ever.
Anyways, till next week!

Great to see you back
Great to see you back too, mkgregory!
I decided to nitpick.
There would not be a full moon until 02/22/1864.
I only did this because the moon was striking in panel 2 (as was the entire page), and I wanted to see if there really was a full moon that night.
Keep up the EXCELLENT work!
DANG! That is a pretty epic nitpick, T. Gatto.
I gotta give you props though for doing more research about the night in question than I did.
Well I’ll be damned…new D3 pages.
Just as a minor historical point of fact, the Hunley was the third American submarine vessel to exist. The USS alligator was launched by the USN a year before it, and even before that there the turtle which operated in 1776 during the American revolution with questionable results. The Hunley was the first confirmed vessel of the type to damage or sink it’s target however.
Hey, tkg, awesome to have you back on board!
Things just haven’t been the same without your insightful commentary.
Here’s hoping you dig all the craziness to come!
