The FINAL FATE of Arthur Holmwood!

Man, things didn’t work out well AT ALL for good ol’ Arthur, or his family for that matter. One thing is clear, Holmwood’s brief encounter with Dracula not only taught him the meaning of tragedy and changed his life forever, but it also ultimately led to his ruin. The man murdered his daughter in front of his granddaughter. It doesn’t get much worse, or much darker than that. For all intents and purposes, Dracula destroyed the entire Holmwood line.

Welp, this marks the end of the second prose interlude, and HOLY CRAP were there A LOT of words this week! We crammed in as much as we possibly could, to the point that we nearly crowded out Holmwood’s asylum photo (yet another wonderful illustration by Danilo). Why did we do this, you ask? First of all, the end of Holmwood’s story is compelling and needed space to develop, but also because this week’s installment is sprinkled with hints, tidbits, and foreshadowing that will payoff later in the story. Hope you’ve been paying attention…

ATTN: Daredevilers! Forget about the prose, it’s time to give the portraits we’ve featured over the last few weeks their due. GO NOW to the Member’s Area to see Danilo’s wonderful illustrations full-size and unaltered in the Dossier section.

And of course, be here NEXT WEEK for the KICK-OFF to Pitch Black Day Chapter 3! Up to this point Dracula has had his way, but now it is time for the Daredevils to STRIKE BACK! In just 7 day the most ACTION-PACKED chapter yet begins, so make sure to RSS, Like, or Follow.

Oh, and we’re off to a great start at Top Web Comics this month! Thanks to everyone’s who’s been voting, and please keep it up! Also, Evin has definitely outdone himself in the newest installment of the Sunday Bonus Lunch. Three words: MILEY TWERKING DRACULA.

Anyways, till next week!
