Welcome Home, Agent McCarver!
We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. Yup, definitely somewhere over the rainbow…but, where exactly have our heroes arrived? As always, we’re going to make you sweat a while on that one.
Be here NEXT WEEK for the FINALE of Beyond Familiar Shores Chapter One! Next week’s page is such a cool reveal that I won’t even HINT at what is coming. Just be here. Trust me.
Till next time!
-Matt-
One might think a “sphere” shape would be better for a temporal displacement field, as in the Terminator films, but a “cube” shape fits with the tesseract or hyper-cube concept of time travel. Very nice.
Wow, you’ve attracted the attention of John Waltrip? And he makes interesting and complimentary comments?
Nice! Very nice!
You’re entering (if you hadn’t already) the big leagues now, ThreeOneFive!
Thanks, John.
Yeah, we’ve always preferred the “cube” to the “sphere” for our universe. Though, whether the tesseract is being used to travel through time or rather through dimensions has yet to be fully revealed.
“Fire up the BBQ, boy’s the meat’s on me”
Can something be both gross and awesome at the same time?
If so, I think you found that sweet spot, Sarge.
Just don’t forget the “Spontaneous Combustion” hot sauce and wasabi on the side…
“I teleported home one night
with Ron and Sid and Meg,
Ron stole Meggie’s heart away,
and I got Sidney’s leg.”
Douglas Adams, “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”
Heh, that’s awesome!
I, personally, have never read The Hitchkiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (I know, I know), but Dan is a huge fan so it is definitely an influence.
This is perhaps the longest cliff hanger yet! the big question isn’t answered but at least we know there is some kind of counter organization to fight against the Giga-Reich.
You know us, TKG, we love our cliffhangers. We give just enough to keep you (hopefully) coming back for more.
However, I can confirm that a deluge of long-gestating reveals are just over the horizon.
Do the reveals include specs for a time-traveling briefcase? ‘Cause that would be awesome.
That is one nasty, huge severed Nazi arm they’ve acquired.
Last page of the chapter: Frankenschmittler’s arm reanimates and kills them all. The end!
Ruh Roh! You got us, Thracecius.
Hey Danilo, you think there’s enough time to redraw the next page?!
Hey! We should´ve ended that way!
HA!
An invoice for my consultation fee is in the mail. Don’t worry, I work for peanuts.
