But I digress…
Well, it’s another DDD update, and another week of teasing teases. In case you missed one of the loops in the veritable Gordian Knot of questions hanging over the story I’ll be more than happy to lay them all out for you, oh loyal reader!
1. Welp, we didn’t answer the big question from last week. Namely, what the heck was that Giga-Reich Trooper pointing at up in the sky, and what does it all mean?
2. It looks like we’ve continued to successfully evade the question of what exactly the blue, glowing rock is. However, we do now know that it is 99.8% percent pure. Pure what though, that is the question?
3. And, the most pressing and newest questions is…did Doc just get himself shot!?
Be here NEXT WEEK where I PROMISE, not ONE, but TWO of those questions will be answered. You can take that to the bank.
Till next time!
-Matt-
Allow me to make some predictions!
1. Airship, or hot-air balloon. Doc’s getaway car (so to speak).
2. “Unobtanium” (a catchall term for a previously unknown and extremely rare/valuable element/ore).
3. No! The sniper was shooting at the airship, because the Elite Mook would want the satisfaction of shooting Doc himself.
Well, that’s my 2 cents; anyone else care to have a go at it?
One and two, I agree. Three, I vote that the shot we see is not fired by the sniper but at the sniper.
I’ll roll with those guesses!
Fun speculation:
1) No change; it’s some sort of airborne observation platform.
2) The ore is refined for Doc’s (and the Gig’s) time travel fuel.
3) Custer zaps the sniper, which distracts Captain Aryan, and Doc disables him.
Hmmmmm, after considerable thought:
1- some sort of flying holographic projector that is making the battle into something other than what it seems to be.
2- Super Fuel of some sort (to be used in the Custer when built).***
3- I like squirrels.
*** As for the previously mentioned Unobtanium, I have an unopened case (about 4 metric stone in weight) that I will even trade for 2 perpetual motion machines, a pink invisible unicorn horn, and Russell’s teapot.
I like the guesses where Custer comes back. “The Cavalry has arrived!”
Awesome guesses, guys!
And, welcome aboard, ElricKinslayer. Thanks for reading!
Maybe the sniper is a sheep in wolves’ clothing.
No wonder Doc thinks it’s beautiful… He’s found a soap that’s purer than Ivory’s 99.44%.
Doc will be just fine. With that tiny chunk he’s got, he can clean all their clocks.
