This Duel is Far From Over.
I know most of you don’t need the heads up, but for posterity, obviously, this week’s page is an homage to this ALL-TIMER by Chris Claremont, Frank Miller, et al.
Now, we have done PLENTY of homages in these strips over the years, but NEVER one as complete as this. It took the whole team to make this love letter work. We just figured, if you’re going to start a samurai sword fight, well, then you better do it right.
Be here NEXT WEEK!
Till next time…

I’m just incredibly grateful y’all didn’t use any liefield samurai sword duels for reference.
Excellent tribute to a fantastic story!
This is the book that really got me into comics.
Then I read Groo, and I was done for…
Me too! Claremont and Miller’s Wolverine Mini-Series is my Holy Grail.
I’m looking forward to a Rob Roy finish.
Back in the days where Wolverine healed fast not instantly.
YES! I talk/think about this all the time.
I blame the movies for changing his healing factor. In the movies they needed him to heal intstantly so they could visually show his powers. You can show a wound heal instantaniously, you cannot show a wound heal faster than normal.
Since then, the instant healing has crept into all versions of the character. A shame.
