Beyond Familiar Shores’ Cover is FINALLY Here!
Not much to say about this cover other than the obvious fact that it the WEIRDEST of our entire run so far. In some (admittedly very oblique) ways, it is illustrative of some closely held secrets that have not yet been revealed in the story-proper.
Stare into the abyss and when it stares back at you, post your theories on what it all means. If nothing else I know your interpretations will be entertaining!
Be here NEXT WEEK when the story starts ANEW. Before it’s all said and done old questions will be answered and new mysteries will be set in motion. Do not miss it!
Till next time!

–Friedrich Nietzsche
In time you will see just how prescient that quote is, Crazyman.
You’re definitely on to something, my friend.
I see 2 different realities being forced together, with one as the aggressor, kind of the opposite (or inverse) of time branching out into possibilities for the future.
Perhaps some force, or forces (say the Giga-Reich for one), are not content to control just one universe, they want them all.
Whatever it means, I like how it forms into the Earth in the last bubble.
I can’t say (for obvious spoiler or lack of spoiler reasons) how close or far you are off the mark here, T. Gatto.
But, I will say, I am taking note of your interpretation and I promise to revisit it later.
I…uhh…I just see bubbles.
Are they underwater?
Yes, I am shameless. Then again, I think T. Gatto already stole the best idea, so I’ma gonna hafta cogitate onit a’wile ‘fore I’s ken offa up a ‘notha so-loo-shun.
I’m forever blowing bubbles…

Are you trying to steal McGinty’s gimmick, Tharecius, or am I confusing one gibberish dialect for another?
I knew I should have ended with “I reckon”, but I was trying not too be too obvious about the rural Deep South / Hillbilly mashup parody. I guess I should have just gone for a straight ripoff Scots accent.
So Crazyman’s quote is prescient? Hmm.
I’ve got it all figured out then! Custer gets too mixed up in these alternate reality time-space shenanigans and, because he is an Earth Prime mortal that was exposed to a massive chunk of eternite during a time-space translation with an armful of necrotic tissue (Frankenschmittler planned it all along!), the entire lower half of his body starts mutating into Cthulhu, so Doc has to amputate it and then he tosses it at the ‘Gigs to escape yet another dastardly ambush!
Man, this comic is becoming so predictable.
Let’s see… Doc time traveled from our future into the past, and killed Hitler. That created an alternate timeline, with Zombie Hitler, Clone Hitler, Cyborg Hitler, Robo-Hitler…
That timeline is merging with our own, creating a new Deep Dive Daredevil Dimension.
When Doc inseminated himself into the past, he impregnated history with his future tech, giving birth to a world full of extreme dangers, but also amazing possibilities… Or something like that.
What? You’re not seeing the creation of the embryonic form of the Deep Dive Daredevils’ world? You must not have a fertile enough imagination. Either that, or I’m just crazy, from the top of my head to the tips of mitosis. (See ya’ later, South America! Gotta split!)
I think this is the best chapter cover so far because it poses many questions but doesn’t answer a single one. It is like taking a cliffhanger to the next level taunting and teasing the readers with what lay in store.
