Woke up this A.M. to a notice that my Amazon Kickstarter payment to 315 had been declined.
- After a small stroke, I determined that the card had expired in between my authorizing the payment, and the campaign ending.
- Fortunately it was an easy fix, once I figured that part out.

I would have been mortified, if it had not worked out. :)

Yeah, I'm over-the-moon with the artwork Smilton is turning in for Chapter Two. I'm glad you are digging it, as well.

It's a big change from CH1, but that's one of the great things about webcomics...there's built-in allowance to grow and evolve.

My guess is that; now the guy who cooked this all up so that he could marry the princess (or in some way get to her) and take the idol, is mad that Joe is now in the way.

Is it that Volcano Engineer guy with the goggles, or someone else?

I'm betting that Joe should just try to swim the Ocean; the princess seems to be one pretty girl who is more trouble than a ship full of drunken sailors...

Thanks again for salvaging Tuesdays.

Whatever the heck this is it ain't no gandy dancer- I doubt there's a railroad here- whoever is tracking the Custer seems to be making their play...

When I was in my teens, I discussed the pros/cons of marriage with Old Man O'Brian- I commented that I had read how married men live longer than bachelors- His response was classic-
"Tis fallacy m'boy, pure fallacy- Life only SEEMS longer t' them what's married,"
the Old (and married for the fourth time) Sgt.

Love the art. Makes the jungle feel so real. Wonderful.

The layout is great, too. The big panel gives the whole page atmosphere and, for lack of a better word, richness. The inserts give us Joe's moment and lead on to the drama. And the whole composition leaves enough space, so that the page doesn't appear quite as talky as the word count might suggest.

Also, nice how you avoid the maid-and-butler dialog pitfall by having Joe talk to his dog, but clearly mostly to himself, as is perfectly suitable.

Holding my breath for the big twist. Will it be external, backstory oriented, or rather internal, one of the crew not only breaking out, but literally breaking bad?
