I think it’s pretty clear that nubile young woman is Dracula’s favorite food, so his minions will got to any lengths to acquire them; including shore raids if necessary.

However, I’m sure they could find an adequate supply on cruise ships, yachts, and pleasure boating trips, which would make hunting trips on land a rare occurrence.

wow…..I go away on vacation for a few days and BAM Doc is eating some poor lady’s wrist! I do suppose these folks wont be needing the moist towelettes then. Great turn of events for both plot and art, you’ve sent the stage clearly for how bad stuffs about to become.

Yeah, we’ve been excited/nervous about the reception of this page. We felt that it needed to go REALLY dark not only to sell the danger and stakes (pun) of the story, but to also not take the bite (can’t help myself) out of Doc’s transformation into a vampire.

This isn’t a joke or some fake out, Doc is a vampire and as hard as it is to see him do it, vampires drink blood.

I forgot to mention this but, Nice Curtains!

The elegant purple with gold trim definitely sets off the fountain of blood and gore, making for an all around regal, yet comfy, effect.

I would hate to think that the ambiance of Dracula’s torture and feeding chamber was somehow ruined by poor decorating tastes, one never knows when important guests of stature and taste may be stopping by…
