Well... the 'Marine Waltz' has a tendancy to leave some rather messy carnage. Have you ever seen what a .45 hardball does to human flesh? It is impressive. Now imagen the same damage done in 2.5" stitches and you understand why they are called 'choppers'. I've noticed that you tend to shy away from graphic carnage... better still, show some 'hotdog' attempt to 'John Wayne' the thing (like the bozo in frame 3) and wind up 'kissing the Cutts' (Cutts Compensator, the funny looking blob on the muzzel) with sizzeling results.
Yes, I have SERIOUSE trigger time with a 1928A1 Delux... I know ALL their bad habits.

Thanks, TKG!

Yeah, Smilton has done a great job, and we're really thankful to have him aboard for the Cajun Caper. And let me tell you, the upcoming pages are his best of the entire story.

We're all in for a treat in the next few weeks!

If there was an award for "Best Comment on a Webcomic" this one would certainly be a nominee.

As long as it takes, I'm going to find a way to work the "Marine Waltz" into a comic someday.

Thanks, Sgt. Howard!

Firearms, like any other tool, have their place.

I just choose to employ more creative solutions when faced with a conflict.

Welcome aboard, Ivan!

I really like the differing style of how these pages are drawn and colored it almost gives it that old news print comic sort of style.

Can't hit the barnside of a ... no, THAT's not right... well, certainly flunked basic marksmanship. 450 rpms x 2 useing .45acp and all he can do is woodpecker the neighborhood... well, assuming that is some flavor of Thompson, I suppose the rediculouse barrel climb of the model 1928 MIGHT account for his shooting. The destruction of the battery pack might be from the initial burst.
BTW- A REAL Thompson is a most uncontrollable piece of hardware, rather like a 6"firehose. I don't care how big or strong you are- the seventh round is going STRAIGHT UP!!! Turn it sideways and give it a short burst with a doublecount rest- BRRRRAP!!! two three BRRRRAP!!! two three... it's called the "Marine Waltz" and it's a great way to wade through a crowd.

Thanks, Rich!

Yeah, I really like the last panel, as well. We wanted to make the chase seem as big as possible while still being economical with how many panels we devoted to it, and an ultra-wide shot seemed like a good way to draw in the reader and let their imagination fill in the details. Smilton executed it very nicely, I think.
