True, for the fans, there will never be the dissapointment that is inevitable as an artist ages out of their pime…

But, in Kurt’s case, where he left behind an infant daughter, there was so much left for him to do that had nothing to do with Nirvana or his music career.

I do not think Doc is dead in the conventional sense. He will either be back or something will happen involving his brother reemerging in his place maybe.

Kurt, like Jimi and Janice before him, checked out at the peak of his career. He did not hang on, making a mockery of himself like Elvis, for example.

Which is better, I do not know, but leaving at the top leaves a more beautiful memory at least. Always leave them hungry for more.
